SOS Brutalism ✕ ArkDes
In 2017 Sparta Student Residence was named Lund’s most beautiful building. Among other buildings built from concrete, Sparta is usually described as one of the clearest examples of Brutalism in Sweden. The raw concrete façade has since been remade in green.

The movement in this drawing is phenomenal. I love the use of a swooping spiral composition. The way the dragon’s head is clearly in front of its body adds dimension and makes it feel like the figures are going to just pop right off the page!
Plus how he was able to pull off such a strong red on a mostly monochromatic piece. Notice it’s not just the cape, but a bunch of little details in the armor and figure itself to balance it out.
The water is my birthplace and it is there I will find peace. 🌊

Part 1: The Escape
Here’s a new modeling project I did tonight! I wanted to create a cyberpunk series that gave off a very strong anime protagonist vibe. Photographed graciously by the amazing ko_photocafe.
Outfit is from Dollskill (LED lights were my personal touch)
